The Christian reality has never been about prosperity, or wealth, or tickle-your-ear-doctrines, but rather the harsh Christian reality begs the question of whether or not you are willing to die for the faith. The severity of that question, let alone the situation, would have many Christians rethinking their fluffy Sunday sermons.

However, that’s not what the murdered Coptic Christians, including children, did in Egypt. Rather they refused to deny their faith and were killed for it. According to the Christian Post, Friday’s massacre of 29 Coptic Christians, occurred after Islamists marched them off the bus one by one and asked them to deny their faith in Jesus Christ.

As Breitbart and the Christian Post reported;

Father Rashed, a chaplain for one of the groups comforting the survivors of the attack, said in an article in Breitbart News on Sunday that ten masked Islamic State militants did not simply open fire on the bus on its way to the Monastery of Saint Samuel the Confessor.

Instead, the IS radicals apparently stopped the bus, made the victims walk out, and asked each of them, including the children, whether they were Christians.

Rashed explained that the victims “were asked to renounce their Christian faith and profess belief in Islam, but all of them — even the children — refused. Each was killed in cold blood with a gunshot to the head or the throat.”

Friday’s attack, at the start of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, was another devastating blow to Egypt’s minority Copts, who in the past year have suffered a number of massacres at the hands of Islam, including Palm Sunday church bombings that killed 46 believers.

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi has tried to assure Coptic Pope Towadros II that the attackers in the latest tragedy will be punished.

The Coptic church has warned that despite the government’s efforts, however, IS radicals, who on Saturday took responsibility for the slaughter, “damage Egypt’s image and cause Egyptians a great deal of pain.”

Meanwhile, many in the media did not report that the Coptic Christians were killed for their faith, rather they stated that the IS just simply murdered them in cold blood. But the crucial detail is that the Islamists attempted to make the Christians renounce their faith in Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord, not one renounced, because just as the Bible states;

Matthew 10:16-22 1599 Geneva Bible

16 Behold, I send you as [b]sheep in the midst of the wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and innocent as doves.
17 But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to the Councils, and will scourge you in their Synagogues.
18 And ye shall be brought to the governors and kings for my sake, in witness to them, and to the Gentiles.
19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that hour, what ye shall say.
20 For it is not ye that speak, but the spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
21 And the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son, and the children shall rise against their parents, and shall cause them to die.
22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my Name: but he that endureth to the end, he shall be saved.

Even the children endured, for by the grace of God they stood as towers amongst the cowards until death. What does this say about the American version of Christianity? How many in this generation would be willing to die for their faith?

Recent polls show that American Christianity is in decline,

Fewer than one in four Americans now believe that the Word of God, the Bible, is the literal Word of God. That number is similar to the 26% who view it as “a book of fables, legends, history and moral precepts recorded by man.”

The disbelief is record breaking according to the Gallup-polls four-decade trend that biblical literalism has not surpassed biblical skepticism. Even further, about half of Americans — a proportion largely unchanged over the years — fall in the middle, saying the Bible is the inspired word of God but that not all of it should be taken literally.

The Gallup poll showcases that only 24% of Americans believe that the Bible is the literal Word of God.

The gallup poll is evidence that the American education system, culture, and the cabal have infiltrated the youth and are actively swaying the populace of America towards satanism.

However, what else the poll shows is that Churches in America are no longer preaching that the Bible is to be taken literally, rather the churches are teaching that you can cherry pick scripture. For that, God says in scripture that He will spit them out. — Read More

Christians in America need to wake up to the Christian reality. It’s not about prosperity, it’s not about wealth, it’s not about tickling ears, it’s not about somebody else, and it’s not about you; rather it’s about Jesus Christ and what He has done for you, in turn, so that you might be saved.

You have to hand it to the Coptic Christians for their faith is truly amazing. I wonder how many American Christians would refuse to deny their faith in the same situation? My heart goes out to all of them.

It is so difficult to face what other Christians are facing in the Middle East. I for one have talked to the Lord about what I would do. And perhaps what I will need to do here in the USA, in the future. It’s all settled between Him and me. If I live long enough, I do think there is a high likelihood that I may need to do as these heroes of the faith have had to do. I have looked at the men on the beach in orange just before they were murdered, looked at their faces. There are not words enough to express my grief that these people have died. But they are now in Glory with the Lord, and they have a crown of glory. God help us all – Maranantha!

These Christians were weighed in the scales by God and not found wanting.

To come face to face with the enemies of the Father and flinch not is a mighty testament to all who call themselves faithful.

We should all be so lucky as to give our lives in service to the King.

Rest easy Coptic Christians for thy burden has been lifted.
